I’ve just had word from the front line that swallows have been returning to the area and have been spotted at Lower Bruckland. A post at Steve’s Birding Blog a week or so ago would seem to confirm that the timing is about right (Beer is only a couple of miles away for non-locals). No photos yet I’m afraid but there should be plenty of time for that (although send us any you want to share!). A few quick links:
